About the Author
Faith for the chapters you thought were final.
As a child, Margaret moved through fifteen different homes and placements, including foster homes, group homes, and juvenile hall. She learned early what it felt like to live with uncertainty, wondering where she would sleep next, who she could trust, and whether anyone would stay.
Then one day, a priest said something she has never forgotten:
“People have not been on your side. But God has.”
Faith became her anchor. Her writing gives language to the hardest chapters, the ones where hope feels distant and identity feels fractured.

The Labels
Words were attached to me that could easily have become an identity. "Damaged." "Incorrigible." "A problem." People can describe what they see in one moment and mistake it for the whole story. A label is not the same thing as an identity. Other people do not know how your story ends. God gets the final word.
Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
